LHA and Biggest Loser -1.0 lb

-1.0 lb

My official weigh-in is on Sundays.  I weigh myself throughout the week ( I know a habit I should probably break) but if you I am going to limit my scale postings to once a week so here you have it.  For both LHA and Biggest Loser.  A loss is a loss.  So this week marked 5 months since I have been actively changing my lifestyle.  My progress has been pretty amazing.  I have lost a total of 25.6 lbs.  This is pretty great because I am 7 weeks ahead of  alex's projected losses  schedule.  I basically just took to my excel sheet and created tangible goals that were realistic.  I figured a pound a week for the rest of the year is pretty ambitious but it is realistic.  As I lose more weight I am sure that my progress will level off and be on track with the progress sheet.

All these excel sheets and numbers may seem crazy but it works for me. I have tracked everything I have eaten for the last 5 months.  Seeing numbers and the correlation between what I eat, my exercise and my progress really motivates me.  At the beginning of the year I set a goal to be 199 lbs by May 2, my birthday.  That did not happen.  Considering my weight loss it just was not realistic.  So I re-evaluated my goal and based on my progress chart I am not supposed to be 199 lbs until July!  But I think I can get there by the end of the month....You see what I mean.  This is encouraging.  I don't set myself up for failure.  Because when I have done that in the past not only do I come down hard on myself I turn to crazy stuff like fad diets.

I am most certainly not doing that again.

In summary, I had a good week.  I worked out 5x and I ate well.  Here is to another week with hopefully a bigger loss.

Have a great one!

Excellent progress. You should be so proud!

The approach you're taking should result in true permanent habit changes which is the REAL GOAL! Your weight loss is more likely to be permanent and very few people achieve that! Keep at it!

Good job! Changing lifestyle is a difficult thing, and it looks like you've got good progress in getting it where you want it! :)
