Cardio Craze
That is what I am calling it. Only a crazy person would do what I did today at the gimnasio. First, of all let me mention that I forgot my heart rate monitor at home. It is the first time in a year that I work out without it. Thus, I almost convinced myself to skip the gym all together. But I did not. I got in my car and went straight to the gym. Found parking and everything.
I got to the gym at 5:30. I noticed the spinning class began at 7:00. I said, maybe I will stick around and then that thought ended with an affirmative "NAH". But guess what I did.
At 5:50 I got on the revolving stairmaster, you know the one with actual steps that rotate. I was on that sucker on interval training for 15 minutes, just enough time to sign up for the spinning class. I did, I signed up for the spinning class. I then walked up the stairs and hopped on an elliptical, with my two pound weights and proceeded to do my fancy hands crazy lady workout that literally works out every bit of my body. That ended after about 20-25 minutes. Which gave me a ten minute break before my spinning class.
I began the class and knew that it was going to be hell. And it was. And I wanted to quit. Every single minute I thought about hopping off the bike. I did not. I hated the instructor, loved the workout. That is a sacrifice I am willing to make. Don't have to be personable to make me sweat in a cardio class that is for sure. Needless to say at 8:00 I experienced FATIGUE like I have never felt before. Here I am, 2 hrs later, lead legs and soreness writing about this. This experience is huge. I am challenging you friends, to do your own cardio craze...Now that I know I can do this, I am going to get 'er done at least once a week.
Happy hump day.
